ABOUT CHRIS
I wasn't trying to become the great teacher. I had to become my kind of teacher.
I'm Chris Broussard, M.Ed., an educator from Louisiana whose career took an unexpected turn abroad. Years in the classroom taught me that engagement isn't a trick, a technology, or a perfect lesson plan. It begins with identity, connection, and intentional design.
Not Your Typical Teacher grew from that realization. Today my work stretches from classroom practice to teacher development and conference stages, but the goal remains the same: help educators build learning experiences that feel authentic to them and meaningful to the people in the room.
